Molly, I'm so sorry for dropping that on the blog and then not coming back to it. I've been getting busy with homework. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. My father has been out of the hospital for a few weeks now and is doing better. It's been almost back to normal. Thanks for being so sweet, Molly. You're still one of the nicest people that I know.

How are you? You still go to school with Emily, right? How is that? Do you ever see other people from St. Martin? Have you started looking at colleges? Do you know what kind of thing you want to study in college? I've been thinking about colleges a lot. It's kind of stressful. I hope you have a lovely day/week/month and thanks again!

New Year

Hey Molly! I'm sorry it took me so long to post anything. I felt like I should mention Christmas and New Year, but I felt kind of horrible about it; I didn't want to lie and say "fine" like usual. So if you don't mind, I think I'll be honest.

I had a rather unhappy Christmas. I hurt my knee during my gym midterm exam so it was causing me pain during break. At the same time, my father was in the hospital. Also, it didn't snow for Christmas. =(
It was pretty much the worst Christmas of my life. We went to visit my father at the hospital; he was in the crisis ward because (I recently found out) he's manic-depressive and was in a manic stage. It was horrible. I don't know if you know anything about that mental disorder but it drastically changed my dad. It scared me how different he was (and still is to a certain extent.) My mother, sister and I had Christmas lunch at the hospital and then went home and didn't do much. Then, when we went to Church for the 7 o'clock mass, it was closed. I was so sad that night. I think it's the first Christmas that I've cried.

I had a much better New Years. I went to a sleepover and had fun. =) I just really wish it would snow by now. I'm ready for it.
Anyway, I'm sorry for dumping all that on you. You're just always so wonderfully nice (I love that about you). I hope this didn't make you sad. I just had to talk about it to someone.

Thanks for doing this blog with me. I hope you had a great 2011 and have an even better 2012! How was your Christmas and New Years? I hope they were good (I can live vicariously through you. ;) How's school going? Did you have your exams yet?

Late, Oops...

Hey Molly. Sorry I haven't posted. I forgot to keep checking the blog. Oops! I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma. It's quite alright that you also forgot to post. We can just post whenever, I suppose.

School isn't that bad lately. I just have a paper to write for next week. (Yuck) I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. My family did not go anywhere this year (we usually don't). It's hard to, when my father has a bad back. It's ok though, because my cousin came from Chicago and it was nice. He works at a movie theater chain, so he managed to get my family free tickets to see Hugo. It was so cute! Have you seen it? I definitely recommend it.

I can't believe that November is almost over! Finals are coming up soon and I have to start getting my Christmas presents in order. Lately I've been knitting a lot,* so I'm going to make my father a hat for winter. I hope it turns out okay. The last time I made him a hat it was too small. Are you excited for Christmas/winter break from school? I know I am! I'm sorry again that this was so late. I hope to hear from you soon!
